Qualifikationen

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• Additional qualification in medical or dental administration advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar receptionist role advantageous.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Aufgaben

• Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Manage the switchboard and handle incoming calls.
• Schedule, manage, and maintain appointment diaries.
• Send appointment reminders via phone, SMS, or email.
• Attend to patient enquiries and provide accurate information.
• Manage patient flow and communicate delays professionally.
• Maintain and update patient records and accounts.
• Handle payments, collections, and receipting of monies.
• Maintain filing systems and ensure easy retrieval of records.
• Assist with patient emergencies and escalate where required.
• Ensure strict confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintain a neat, organised, and professional reception area.
