The Capital Hotels, Apartments & Resorts in Sandton is seeking a Demi Chef to assist with guest food preparation under the supervision of the Section Chef de Partie. The main focus is on producing quality dishes and supporting daily kitchen operations.

Applicants should have Matric and a Culinary Arts Diploma or equivalent, with strong customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Honest, presentable and proactive individuals will thrive in our staff‑centric culture.

Description

The Demi Chef is responsible for the preparation of food for guests under the supervision of the Section Chef de Partie. The main component of the position is food production.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Culinary Arts Diploma or similar
• Hands on Problem Solving approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
