Job summary

Khonology (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead agile delivery across multiple teams in complex environments. You will implement Agile frameworks, coach squads, and ensure value delivery for clients.

You will coordinate planning, manage resources, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and report progress to stakeholders, while raising the agile maturity of the organization.

Qualifications

• 7 years’ experience in a similar environment
• Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
• In-depth knowledge of software development processes, especially Agile software development
• In depth knowledge of iterative development and continuous delivery
• Experience working with and managing multiple delivery teams
• Experience delivering complex development projects
• Experience working in Scrum; Managing and communicating directly with multiple clients or stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Ensure the implementation of an Agile working framework for targeted teams in complex technological environments.
• Manage and facilitate delivery teams to better collaborate, resolve conflicts and to work towards continuous improvement and value delivery.
• Oversee daily activities of delivery teams.
• Allocate resources and workloads according to delivery requirements
• Facilitate daily stand up or other scrum events.
• Assist in building well-structured agile practice.
• Plan, coordinate, organize and track projects through to implementation.
• Planning and facilitating Scrum ceremonies including Sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, etc.
• Continuously learning and educating the development team and fellow Scrum Masters on Agile methodologies and practices.
• Coach and mentor the delivery teams to increase agile maturity across the company.
• Build positive and productive relationships with clients and stakeholders for business growth.
• Analyse and troubleshoot delivery issues.
• Reporting to clients as well as internal Head of Delivery.

• Strong administration, attention to detail, ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
• Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Project Management certifications (PMBOK/ PRINCE2/ Agile Project Management/ Scrum Master)
• Knowledge of SAFe methodology and standards a bonus
• Strong Proficiency with the Atlassian tool stack, particularly Jira and Confluence
