Placements24 is seeking a reliable Delivery Fleet Operator to manage and execute delivery schedules in and around Tembisa, Gauteng. You will operate a company vehicle, follow safety protocols, and optimize routes to ensure on-time, secure deliveries.

The role requires a Code 10 license with PDP, at least four years as a commercial driver, and strong knowledge of Tembisa. Candidates must be safety-focused, independent, and able to lift up to 30 kg.

• Manage delivery paperwork including proof of delivery signatures and inventory checks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle interior and cargo area.
• Communicate route updates, delays, or customer issues with dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled deliveries and collections of goods to various destinations within the designated area.


• Safely operate commercial vehicles, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.


• Conduct routine checks on the vehicle's condition, including tire pressure, fluid levels, and brakes, reporting any issues immediately.


• Manage delivery paperwork, including proof of delivery signatures and inventory checks.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle interior and cargo area.


• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or any customer-related issues.

Requirements
