Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Basic computer literacy is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Stack and store products in a safe and tidy manner.
• Merchandise products according to laid down standards.
• Correctly price random weight/loose selling items.
• Check correct pricing (labels, etc).
• Check quality, rotate stock, remove expired stock.
• Prevent wastage/shrinkage/damages.
• Check temperatures and maintain cold chain (if applicable).
• Adhere to security procedures.
• Operate and clean equipment as required.
• Assist customers and provide product/service information politely.
• Process customer orders according to procedures and service standards.
• Promote products to customers.
