About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced DeFi Protocol Engineer to join their innovative team in East London . You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and applications on the blockchain. This role requires a deep understanding of smart contracts, tokenomics, and the broader DeFi ecosystem. You will work closely with product managers and other engineers to create secure, scalable, and user-friendly financial products that leverage blockchain technology. The ideal candidate is passionate about financial innovation and eager to contribute to the growth of decentralized finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement DeFi protocols , including lending platforms, DEXs, and yield farming mechanisms.
• Develop and optimize smart contracts for security, efficiency, and gas optimization.
• Integrate DeFi protocols with existing blockchain infrastructure and external services.
• Conduct thorough testing, auditing, and deployment of DeFi applications.
• Collaborate with the team on tokenomics design and economic modeling.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in the DeFi space.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DeFi Protocol Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in smart contract development (e.g., Solidity) and blockchain platforms.
