Job summary

Placements24 is seeking dedicated remote courier drivers for a fully remote role across South Africa. You will manage your own schedule, operate a delivery vehicle, and ensure timely, secure transportation of packages with remote dispatch support.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of professional driving experience, a Code 10/14 license with PDP, reliable internet, and a smartphone. You will work autonomously with flexible hours and access to training and tools provided by our network.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 10/14 driver’s license with PDP.
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience in courier or delivery services.
• Own reliable vehicle (or willing to lease/acquire).
• Stable internet connection and a smartphone for remote communication.
• Excellent driving record with no major violations in 5 years.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure operational safety and identify any maintenance needs.
• Load and unload packages with care, ensuring the integrity and security of all items.
• Accurately document delivery status, collection confirmations, and any issues encountered using our digital platform.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions, acting as a professional representative of our client.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• A valid and clean Code 10/14 driver's license with professional driving permit (PDP) is essential.

• Excellent driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents in the past 5 years.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and support teams.
• Must own a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for courier services (or be willing to lease/acquire one).
