The role requires a trade certificate, Matric, and at least 5 years in franchised dealership service management, with Afrikaans and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Trade Test Certificate (Diesel preferred; petrol with heavy-duty experience accepted).
• Minimum 5 years hands-on bench experience in a franchised workshop.
• Minimum 5 years service management experience in a franchised dealership.
• Fleet & truck expertise across commercial and passenger fleets.
• Valid driver's license.
• South African citizen.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.

We are seeking an authoritative, technically seasoned Dealer Service Manager to lead workshop operations across passenger and commercial truck lines at a major franchised facility in Tzaneen. The ideal candidate blends deep mechanical diagnostic knowledge with exceptional service management, technician productivity control, and customer retention strategies.

*Requirements*

• Grade 12 (Matric
• Recognized Trade Test Certificate (Diesel Mechanic preferred; Petrol considered with heavy-duty experience).
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on bench experience within a franchised dealership workshop.
• Minimum 5 years of Service Management experience in a franchised dealership environment.
• Fleet & Truck Expertise: Proven experience managing workshop operations for both commercial trucks and passenger vehicle fleets
• Systems Proficiency: Strong working proficiency in automotive DMS platforms, workshop loading modules, and diagnostic reporting tools
• Valid Driver’s License
• South African born citizen
• Fluent communication skills Afrikaans and English
