Job summary

SET Recruitment Consultants is seeking a Dealer Relationship Manager in Welkom, South Africa, with regular travel to Kathu, Vryburg, Kroonstad and surrounding areas. The role centers on growing dealer volumes in the motor industry, F&I, and account management within a results-driven team.

Fluency in Afrikaans and English, relevant motor industry and F&I experience, and 3–5 years in related roles are essential. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively are required.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• Sales and Marketing qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years' sales experience within the short-term insurance industry.
• Good understanding of FAIS Fit & Proper requirements.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow existing sales volumes within the VAP division through regular dealer and financial institution visits.
• Market and promote company products and Warranty products to existing and prospective corporate clients.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and identify new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with motor dealers and financial institutions.
• Conduct ongoing product training and support for clients.
• Represent the company at launches, events and industry functions.
• Provide monthly market intelligence and competitor feedback.
• Prepare reports and assist with budget control and administration.

Our client is seeking an experienced Dealer Relationship Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong background in the Motor Industry, Finance & Insurance (F&I), Sales, and Account Management.

South African citizens only.

Key Requirements

• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
• Motor Industry experience
• Finance & Insurance (F&I) experience
• 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar Dealer Relationship Manager or Account Management role
• Proven sales and relationship management experience
