Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Data Center Technician, IT Hardware Technician, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with server and network hardware installation, racking, and cabling.
• Understanding of data center operations, power distribution, and cooling systems.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in Sandton and potentially on-call shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cabling and patching for network and power infrastructure, ensuring neatness and compliance with standards.
• Monitor data center environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, power) and respond to any anomalies.
