Job summary

Pronel Personnel is seeking an experienced Assistant Electrical Foreman to support the leadership of a dayshift electrical team in a fast-paced FMCG environment in Pretoria. You will be hands-on, technically strong and comfortable working with both teams and management to ensure efficient electrical operations.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Previous electrical supervisory/management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Trade Tested Electrician preferred/required.
• Own reliable transport.
• Willing to work overtime and standby when required.
• FMCG and automation experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading and coordinating the electrical team.
• General maintenance and fault-finding on machinery and equipment.
• Single & three-phase systems, motors and electrical panels.
• Packaging machinery maintenance.
• VSD installation, setup and commissioning.
• AC & DC fault-finding.
• Sensors, limit switches and cable joints.
• Lighting installations and maintenance.
• Designing, wiring and commissioning new panels.
