Job summary

Pronel Consultants is seeking an experienced Assistant Electrical Foreman to support the leadership of a dayshift electrical team. You’ll be hands-on, technically strong and confident working with both teams and management in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires electrical supervisory/management experience, strong leadership, and a trade-tested qualification. Overtime and standby may be required, with FMCG and automation exposure advantageous.

Qualifications

• Electrical supervisory/management experience is required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading and coordinating the electrical team.
• General maintenance and fault-finding on machinery and equipment.
• Single & three-phase systems, motors and electrical panels.
• Packaging machinery maintenance.
• VSD installation, setup and commissioning.
• AC & DC fault-finding.
• Sensors, limit switches and cable joints.
• Lighting installations and maintenance.
• Designing, wiring and commissioning new panels.

• Willing to work overtime and standby when required
• FMCG and automation experience will be an advantage
