Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Childminder Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a busy daycare in Rustenburg, North West. The role focuses on safety, development, and nurturing environments, leading a team of childminders and liaising with parents.

You will implement high standards of care, coordinate schedules and activities, manage admissions, and handle administrative tasks. A relevant ECD/education qualification and valid First Aid/CPR, along with leadership experience,

Qualifications

• Qualification in Early Childhood Development, Education, or related field.
• Proven supervisory or managerial experience in childcare.
• Knowledge of childcare regulations and licensing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Clean criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of childminders, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within the daycare facility.
• Develop and implement daily schedules and activities that promote children's learning and development.
• Oversee the admission and enrollment process for new children and families.
• Act as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing concerns, and fostering positive relationships.
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate resources are available.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss operational matters and professional development.
• Handle administrative tasks, including record-keeping, reporting, and scheduling.
