Job summary

Smollan is seeking a Data Visualisation Developer to join the Deployment team in Gauteng. You will work on reporting processes, develop custom/ad hoc reports, and ensure accuracy and timely delivery of dashboards for syndicated and standard solutions.

You will collaborate with Client Success and the Deployment Manager, handle data sources and complex calculations, and contribute to data engineering briefs for new client set-ups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Info Systems or equivalent.
• Pyramid Analytics Certification (Advantageous)
• Power BI Data Analyst Associate / Tableau / QlikView Certification (Advantageous)
• 3–5 years in a data-centric role with end-to-end dashboard design, complex SQL/data modeling, and stakeholder interaction.

Responsibilities

• Run and check monthly, weekly, and daily reports for accuracy and timely delivery.
• Implement report changes including calculations and dashboard elements as required.
• Engage with Client Success/Deployment Manager for ad hoc reporting tasks and new reports.
• Create Pyramid datasources and new reports with updated calculations and measures.
• Complete new set-ups in Deployment—data receipt to reporting and sign-off on checks.
• Participate in project and stakeholder meetings to share progress and improvements.
