Job summary

IQVIA in Bellville is seeking an experienced Data Team Lead to manage end-to-end data management delivery on single or multi-service projects, ensuring quality deliverables on time and within budget. You will guide the DM team in planning, execution, and close-out, and liaise with sponsors and line management.

The role requires a strong background in data management, drug development lifecycle, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in health, clinical, biological or mathematical sciences, or related field with proven Data Management experience.
• 3–4 years direct Data Management experience, including a minimum of 1 year as a CDM project lead.
• English fluency spoken and advanced English.
• Advanced computer applications like Microsoft Excel, Word.
• Advanced understanding of Drug development lifecycle and Clinical research processes.

Responsibilities

• Gather study setup requirements through discussion with stakeholders.
• Support validation of new Device integrations with minimal guidance.
• Oversight of data cleaning to ensure high-quality deliverables to sponsors.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and sponsor expectations.
• Lead internal study meetings and sponsor audits; participate in study kick-off meetings.
• Track and manage projects, identify risks, and take corrective actions.
