Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Data Security &DLP Analyst (AI Training) to join the team on an hourly contract. You will analyze data security scenarios, classify data sensitivity, and evaluate prevention and response strategies across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments.

The role focuses on creating high-quality data security cases used to train and benchmark AI systems, translating real-world risk into training data and evaluation frameworks. Remote, freelance-style work with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data security, compliance, or security operations.
• Hands-on familiarity with DLP tools, data classification frameworks, and privacy or regulatory concepts (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
• Strong practical understanding of how sensitive data is exposed, mishandled, or exfiltrated across modern IT environments.

What You'll Do

• Analyze realistic data security and DLP scenarios spanning cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in data security, compliance, or security operations

• Strong practical understanding of how sensitive data is exposed, mishandled, or exfiltrated across modern IT environments
• Ability to think critically about risk scenarios and articulate clear, structured reasoning
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on async, task-based assignments

Nice to Have
