Job summary

FNB’s FR Life Assurance division seeks a Data Scientist I to build, optimise and implement quantitative analytical models to provide insights and support business strategy. The role focuses on Customer Engagements, Customer Segmentation and Data Feature Engineering using robust data modelling and statistical techniques.

Qualifications

• Background in data analytics within a financial services organisation.
• Ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Experience with data management and analytics domain.
• Proficiency in SQL and SAS; familiarity with Python or R is beneficial.

• Build and optimise quantitative analytical methodologies and models.
• Deliver analytical insights to address business opportunities and strategies.
