Job summary

Wheco Holdings is seeking a Data & Reporting Analyst to transform complex data into meaningful insights and robust reporting solutions. You will support Finance, Operations, and Retail with ad-hoc analysis, dashboards, and governance across multiple systems.

You will design SQL views, build reusable models, and publish Power BI reports while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver accurate, governed data and actionable business insights.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in data analysis, BI or reporting.
• Proficient in SQL and data modelling.
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Diploma or degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support Finance, Operations, and Retail decisions.

We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Data & Reporting Analyst who enjoys transforming complex data into meaningful insights, building reporting solutions, and supporting the business through accurate, consistent, and governed data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support Finance, Operations, and Retail business decisions
• Design, build, and optimise SQL reporting views and reusable data models
• Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
• Analyse data across multiple systems to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
• Validate and reconcile data across business systems to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies while supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and maintain SQL, Excel, and BI reports to meet business reporting requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver meaningful business insights
• Contribute to reporting governance, documentation, and data quality standards

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Diploma or Degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum 3–4 years' experience in a Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Reporting role
• Intermediate to advanced SQL experience, including writing and maintaining SQL views
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience working with ERP, WMS, POS, or similar business systems will be advantageous
• Valid driver's licence
