Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Data Privacy Specialist to oversee the privacy program across Global Practices portfolios. You will implement controls, ensure compliance with data protection laws, and collaborate with stakeholders to embed privacy by design in processes, systems, and products.

The role involves managing data flow records, supporting privacy assessments, and assisting with responses to data subject requests and incidents in a hybrid working environment. 3+ years in privacy is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or appropriate qualification.
• CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, AIGP and/or CDPSE (preferred).
• 3+ years’ experience in data privacy program management, processes, practices, technologies, risk management, audit, and/or compliance.
• Experience in responding to data subject rights requests and personal data breaches.
• Experience in advising on complex data privacy matters with practical advice.
• Experience in risk management activities and practices (preferred).
• Experience in working on compliance projects.
• Experience in telecommunications, technology and/or professional services (preferred).
• Experience in or working with cybersecurity functions is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact on data privacy matters within Global Practices portfolios.
• Embed Data Privacy policies, procedures, and standards across regions with stakeholders.
• Review data privacy policies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Implement controls to support privacy by design in business processes and systems.
• Roll out Data Privacy requirements for new initiatives from the Global Center of Excellence.
• Maintain records of processing activities and data flows with stakeholders.
