Odixcity Consulting is seeking a Data Operations Analyst in South Africa to oversee data pipelines and quality for AI, ML, and BI projects. You will validate data, support data teams, and improve data handling processes across ingestion, storage, and transformation stages.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in data operations, with SQL, ETL, cloud storage, and data-cleaning expertise. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in data-related field (Data Science / CS / IS / Statistics / Mathematics).
• Familiarity with SQL, Excel, and database systems.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Understanding of data validation, transformation, and cleaning techniques.
• Experience with cloud storage and workflow tools (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• 3-5 years of proven experience in data operations, analytics, or pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage data pipelines and workflows.
• Validate data quality and integrity at each stage of processing.
• Support AI and data teams with dataset preparation and analysis.
