Job summary

ATS Client, a global leader in financial and insurance services, seeks a technically minded Data Integrations Specialist to join their Customer Success team in Cape Town.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Success, you will coordinate and support the delivery of travel data integrations, ensuring information flows accurately and in line with business requirements. This is an office-based role and not hybrid or remote.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer success, implementation, operations, analytics, or similar environment.
• Technically minded with interest in data integration and system interchanges.
• Experience analyzing structured data, validating outputs and investigating data issues.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes and coordinating across stakeholders.
• Exposure to data integrations, APIs, XML, JSON, and GDS platforms; Jira or similar tools.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Proactive problem-solving with root-cause analysis and resolutions.
• Ability to document integration configurations and technical findings clearly.
• Understanding of data protection, compliance and information security principles.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Success, this role sits at the intersection of people, data and systems, acting as a key link between clients, internal technical teams and third‑party companies. The successful candidate will coordinate and support the delivery of travel data integrations, ensuring information flows accurately, efficiently and in line with business requirements.

Please note this role is office‑based and is not a hybrid or remote position.

Key Requirements to meet for consideration

• You will have proven experience in a customer success, implementation, operations, analytics, business analysis, project management technical support or systems coordination environment.
• You will be technically minded with a strong interest in how systems integrate and exchange data.
• You will have experience analysing structured data, validating outputs and investigating data‑related issues.
• You will possess strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• You will have experience gathering requirements, documenting processes and coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders.
• You will have exposure to data integrations, APIs, XML, JSON, GDS platforms, Jira or similar technologies, although this is advantageous rather than essential.
• You will be highly organised, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• You will have a proactive approach to problem‑solving, with the ability to identify root causes and coordinate effective resolutions.
• You will be comfortable documenting integration configurations, data behaviour and technical findings in a clear and concise manner.
• You will have an understanding of data protection, compliance and information security principles.
