Job summary

ShopriteX is seeking an Associate Data Analyst to leverage extensive transaction and customer data to deliver actionable trends and insights. You will work in an agile IDM Tribe, collaborating with stakeholders to frame questions, prepare datasets, and publish dashboards that inform commercial decisions.

The role emphasizes developing skills in data analytics and communicating findings clearly to business teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Operations Research, Statistics, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field – (essential).
• +1 years’ experience in a data team as Associate Data Analyst or similar role, with analytics product exposure.
• Strong proficiency in MS Word with well-developed Excel skills – (essential).

Responsibilities

• Understand and frame analysis requirements with stakeholders; propose fit-for-purpose data-led solutions.
• Prepare data sets and apply appropriate analytical techniques.
• Write standard business requirements to transform data into common formats and reports.
• Design, code, test, document and support applications per business requirements.
