Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines for Global Operations. You will enable AI‑ready data and high‑quality analytics while improving automation and performance.

You will collaborate with technical and business partners, implement robust data solutions, and contribute to AI‑enabled workflows across platforms and data stores. A bachelor’s degree and strong SQL are required.

Qualifications

Strong, hands‑on SQL expertise with complex queries and tuning.
Experience with data modeling, file management, and data transformation workflows.
Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python or Java.
Experience with databases, data platforms, or cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, Redshift, or Teradata).
Familiarity with version control, testing, and core software development practices.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations for analytics and AI use cases.
Develop high‑quality, well‑tested code following best practices for readability and security.
Query, transform, validate, and optimize data across systems using SQL.
Collaborate with partners to translate data needs into practical data solutions.
Document data requirements and contribute to analytics and AI‑enabled workflows.
