Job summary

LexisNexis is seeking a Data Engineer for Global Operations Metrics & Technology Support to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that empower analytics and AI-ready data across the organization.

You will develop high-quality, well-tested code, optimize data across systems using SQL, and collaborate with partners to translate data needs into practical solutions, while advancing automation and data quality.

Qualifications

• Professional data engineering or related technical role.
• Strong SQL, complex queries, and data validation.
• Data modeling, data transformation workflows.
• Programming or scripting language experience (Python/Java).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with version control and testing.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and workflow orchestration.
• Exposure to AI/ML or data automation tools.
• Data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations for analytics and AI use cases.
• Develop high-quality, well-tested code emphasizing readability, security, and maintainability.
• Use SQL to query, transform, validate, and optimize data across systems.

• Troubleshoot data issues via root cause analysis and automation.
