Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transport Management or related field
• Honours qualification would be advantageous
• 1-2 years' experience in transport planning, supply chain planning, logistics optimisation or related environment
• Experience using a Transport Management System (TMS) and working in a customer-centric environment would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimise transport schedules, routes and loads using the TMS to ensure cost-efficient and reliable supply chain operations.
• Coordinate daily logistics and supply chain activities with warehouses, transporters and customers to support smooth execution of the transport plan.
• Analyse transport data and generate reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor transport cost performance and seek cost-saving opportunities through optimisation initiatives.
• Engage with internal teams and transport service providers to resolve planning-related issues and maintain strong relationships.
