Placements24 in East London is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join on a hybrid basis. You will drive data-driven optimization of procurement strategies, identify cost-saving opportunities, and monitor supplier performance.

Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing, and reporting procurement data, developing dashboards and reports to track KPIs, and supporting negotiations with insights. The ideal candidate has a degree in a related field and strong data skills with Excel, SQL, and a BI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, economics, business, or related analytics field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one BI tool (Tableau or Power BI).
• Understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data, including spend, supplier performance, and market trends.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key procurement metrics and KPIs.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation within the supply chain.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers based on analytical findings.
• Support the procurement team with data-driven insights for negotiations and strategic planning.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity for all procurement-related information.
