Placements24 seeks a highly analytical Logistics Analyst in Stellenbosch to optimize transportation, warehousing, and inventory strategies. You will collect, analyze, and interpret logistics data to guide decisions and improve efficiency across the supply chain.

Responsibilities include building dashboards, identifying cost-saving opportunities, forecasting demand, and collaborating cross-functionally to implement data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics analysis or related analytical role.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (Tableau/Power BI).
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Economics, Statistics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data on transportation costs, delivery times, and inventory levels.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs.
• Identify trends, root causes, and cost-saving opportunities in the supply chain.
• Recommend process and strategic changes in logistics operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement data-driven solutions.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to benchmark performance.
• Assist in forecasting demand and resource allocation for logistics.
