About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Supply Chain Analyst to join their dynamic team in Stellenbosch . This role is instrumental in optimizing our client's supply chain operations, identifying areas for improvement, and driving cost efficiencies across the entire network. You will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting complex data related to procurement, logistics, inventory, and demand planning. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics (KPIs) for the supply chain, reporting on key findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, logistics, operations, sales) to implement supply chain improvements.
• Conduct financial analysis on supply chain initiatives, projects, and potential new partnerships.
• Develop and refine demand forecasting models to improve accuracy and align with production and inventory planning.
• Research and recommend new technologies or methodologies to enhance supply chain visibility and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role within logistics or operations.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with supply chain software (ERP, WMS, TMS) is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
