Qualifications

• B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years in process engineering focusing on optimization and data analysis.
• Proficient with data analysis tools and statistical software (Minitab, Python with Pandas).
• Experience with process simulation and modeling software.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data to identify KPIs and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies for process optimization to boost yield and cut energy use.
• Use SPC to monitor process stability and performance.
• Collaborate with plant personnel to implement process changes and provide technical support.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process upsets and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare reports detailing performance, initiatives and results.
