Job description
Overall Responsibility

Provide the On- and Off-Premise Group Accounts Teams with accurate sales information, actionable channel insights, and data-driven recommendations to drive growth and optimise performance.

Focus Area 1: Sales Forecasting
  • Produce leading indicators: daily sales volume forecasts by region, brand, district, and account.
  • Identify volume opportunities through actionable daily insights that support sales delivery.
  • Model stock projections and assist Key Account Managers with forecasted distribution centre orders to ensure adequate stock flow into retail.
Focus Area 2: Sales Reporting
  • Generate FSM push reporting at group account level.
  • Produce month-end reporting including S&M accruals, draught throughput, and sales/growth incentives.
  • Support sales channels with weekly performance reporting.
  • Compile weekly Regional Account and National Group Account reports.
  • Provide market share insights to support buyer meetings.
  • Prepare monthly sales and merchandising partner reports with performance insights and recommended actions.
  • Conduct monthly market share analysis through the True Data portal.
Focus Area 3: Sales Driver Reporting
  • Provide weekly insight packs to Group Account Managers unpacking SHP’s sales drivers.
  • Support regions and sales teams by identifying and closing sales driver gaps.
Focus Area 4: Data Management
  • Harvest and upload retailer data.
  • Map retailer data into Qlik for reporting and analysis.
Focus Area 5: Market Potential Study
  • Assist with research and execution of the annual Market Potential Study, producing strategic recommendations on volume growth and sales force penetration.
  • Use market insights to provide recommendations on:
  • Market positioning of NPDs
  • Potential new sales areas
  • Switching opportunities for volume growth
Focus Area 6: Strategic Insights & Recommendations
  • Based on in-depth analysis, deliver a continuous set of strategic recommendations to Channel Managers and Key Account Managers that support growth, optimisation, and market advantage.
Focus Area 7: Key Account Data, Administration & Reporting
  • Maintain customer master data including segmentation, classification, and prioritisation.
  • Administer listings, ranging, and availability matrices.
  • Conduct sales, price, and inventory analysis across Group Accounts.
  • Track price compliance across all channels and segments; provide regions and sales teams with gaps to close.
  • Design and analyse end-to-end customer margin models.
  • Produce predictive analytics for retail campaign alternatives.
  • Support Group Account Managers with weekly site cover reports.
  • Administer handheld tool tasks, surveys, and implementation tracking.
  • Manage discounting calendars and coordinate discounting processes.
  • Distribute monthly sales packs to Sales & Merchandising partners.
  • Support Group Account Managers with portal administration including loading new listings, deals, and price changes.
Focus Area 8: Trade Surveys
  • Conduct monthly in-trade and online price surveys on SHP and competitor products.
  • Identify and analyse new products, consumer behaviour, and market sales trends.
  • Track competitor activations in trade and online.
  • Evaluate in-store stock rotation and Sales & Merchandising efficiency.
  • Report on in-trade impressions and findings to Group Account Managers.
  • Identify new consumer platforms and sponsorship mediums for commercial opportunities.
Requirements of the Role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Science, Engineering, or Data Science.
  • Qlik analytics proficiency and experience.
