Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Data Acquisition Specialist to define, set up and ingest External Data Streams for clinical trials. This role involves data transfer design, ingestion, and mapping in line with protocol requirements and data protection laws.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with at least 3 years' experience in clinical data management and familiarity with SDTM, GCP/ICH guidelines, and English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience managing data in clinical research.
• Experience with external data sources such as Safety Lab, PK, biomarkers.
• Experience working with external data providers in clinical studies.
• Familiarity with SDTM and GCP/ICH guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Define, set up and ingest External Data Streams per protocol.
• Liaise with data stakeholders to capture transfer and structure requirements.
• Create data transfer agreements documenting study needs.
• Ensure data transfer frequencies meet study timelines.
• UAT and validation of data transfers against specifications.
