Job summary

Cashbuild in Mall of Tembisa is seeking a Perpetual Inventory Controller to perform physical cycle stock counts and verify stock on hand against the system. You will investigate variances, report on discrepancies, and assist with stock takes and stockroom controls.

The role requires Grade 12, basic computer skills, and strong numeracy. You must be reliable, accurate, and able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, with excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12
• 1 year work related experience or 2 years related experience
• Ability to communicate in English and local language
• Literate with strong numeric skills
• Accurate and able to work under pressure
• Basic computer skills
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays

Responsibilities

• Count stock daily and reconcile with system stock on hand
• Investigate variances and report to Store Manager
• Investigate and rectify negative stock quantities daily with approval
• Identify and report on damaged stock and pricing discrepancies
• Conduct mini stock-takes as instructed by management
• Assist with wall-to-wall stock-take preparations and report concerns
• Prepare end-of-day reports and filing
• Adhere to Cashbuild Way and safety requirements
