Job summary

Cashbuild Limited in Mokopane is seeking a Perpetual Inventory Controller (Internal Applications Only). You will perform physical cycle stock counts, verify stock on hand in the system, and investigate discrepancies to identify variances.

The role requires Grade 12, basic computer skills, and strong numeracy. You will report variances to the Store Manager and assist with stock-take preparations, adhering to the Cashbuild Way values.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 and 1 year work related experience or 2 years related experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken where the position is available.
• Must be literate and have strong numeric skills.
• Must be accurate and able to work under pressure.
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perpetual Inventory Counts: Count stock daily according to the PIC Count Cycle.
• Investigate variances and report results to the Store Manager.
• Rectify negative stock quantities daily after approval from Store Manager.
• Identify and report damaged stock to Store Manager.
• Assist with Wall-to-Wall Stock-take preparations and report any areas of concern.
• Normal PIC counts to be done during full Stock-take.
• Report variances for the day to the Store Manager and/or Divisional Manager as required by Cashbuild Way.
• Report irregularities to Store Management and Divisional Manager as required by Cashbuild Way.
• Ensure all PIC documents are completed, signed off by you, approved by Store Manager and filed daily.
