Job summary

Cashbuild Limited is seeking a Perpetual Inventory Controller for Internal Applications at Mall of Tembisa. You will perform routine cycle counts, verify stock on hand, and identify variances for investigation by the Store Manager.

You will also handle PIC adjustments, filing, and daily reporting of stock issues and pricing discrepancies. The role requires accuracy, strong numeric skills, basic computer literacy, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• : Minimum Grade 12 and 1 year work related experience or 2 years related experience
• : Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is available
• : Must be literate
• : Must have strong numeric skills
• : Must be accurate and able to work under pressure
• : Must have basic computer skills
• : Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perpetual Inventory Counts: Count stock daily according to the PIC Count Cycle
• Investigate variances and report results to Store Manager
• Rectify negative stock quantities daily after approval from Store Manager
• Identify and report on damaged stock to Store Manager
• Conduct Mini Stock-takes as instructed by Management
• Assist with Wall-to-Wall Stock-take preparations and report concerns
• Normal PIC counts during full Stock-take
• Reporting: Report variances to Store Manager or Divisional Manager as required
• Report irregularities to Store Management and/or Divisional Manager
• Report on incorrect and poor quality pricing, SKUs and damaged stock
• Report on poor merchandising on racking and bulk area
• PIC Adjustments: Ensure adjustments are actioned and signed off by Management
• End of Day Report validated to PIC Adjustment Sheet
• Report on any adjustments not done on the day of the count cycle
• Filing and Administration: Ensure all PIC documents are completed and filed daily
• Ready for Business: Adhere to Ready for Business and Beyond my Control as per the CB Way
• Customer Service: Adhere to Dress code, display name badge, assist with customer complaints
• Safety (OHSA) Requirements: Ensure OHSA compliance and safety equipment usage.
