Job summary

Rosebank College, a premier private higher education institution in South Africa, seeks a lecturer in cybersecurity. You will deliver lectures, prepare students for assessments, and engage with the Central Academic Team to monitor module performance.

You will also track at-risk students and contribute to academic development. Requirements include a Master's degree in cybersecurity or related field, relevant lecturing experience, and 2–3 years of teaching or industry exposure in cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Master's degree (NQF Level 9) in Cybersecurity or related discipline.
• Lecturing/tutoring experience in cybersecurity and related areas.
• Industry experience in cybersecurity, including governance, risk, digital forensics, security operations.
• 2–3 years lecturing or formal tutoring.
• One NQF level higher than the qualification being taught.
• Copy of academic transcript.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students based on module requirements.
• Update learning management system and provide feedback to students.
• Engage and prepare students for assessments and develop assessments.
• Monitor student engagement and assessment submissions.
• Attend academic meetings across faculties.
• Support monitoring of at-risk students in assigned modules.
