Job summary

APMC (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist (Cyber Prevent) to manage and support preventive security across products, services and technology environments. The role coordinates activities within strategic security programmes, ensuring controls are embedded, evidenced and aligned with policies and laws.

The 12-month contract role in Cape Town focuses on governance, risk, assurance and automation, with responsibilities spanning multiple markets and business units.

Qualifications

• Three-year technical diploma or degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• CISSP certification strongly preferred; CCSP, OSCP, CISM or CISA considered.
• SABSA or TOGAF architecture qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify cyber security risks in products, services and tech solutions and define preventative controls.
• Review designs and control implementations to embed security requirements.
• Provide security assurance before go-live by validating controls and evidence.
