Capital Edge Recruitment is seeking a Cybersecurity and Risk Specialist in Cape Town. The role coordinates day-to-day information security, risk and compliance with 3–5 years of experience. There is real scope to grow within a developing security function.

The position involves identifying IT and security risks, implementing policies, supporting POPIA compliance, and enhancing Microsoft 365 security. You’ll also monitor threats, review new tech security, and drive awareness campaigns.

Competenze

• Diploma or degree in IT, Information Security, Computer Science or similar.
• 3–5 years' experience in information security, IT risk, governance or compliance.
• Solid understanding of risk management and POPIA.
• Microsoft 365 security experience and exposure to ISO 27001, NIST or CIS frameworks will be an advantage.
