Job summary

Paracon seeks an experienced Cyber Prevent Specialist to join a dynamic cyber security team on a long-term contract. You will strengthen preventative controls across products, services, and environments, identifying risks early and embedding security by design.

You will collaborate with business leaders, architects, developers, and security stakeholders to reduce cyber risk and protect critical data and infrastructure throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, Security+ and cloud security certs are advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to interact with executives and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify cyber security risks within products, services, and tech solutions.
• Define preventative security controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Conduct security reviews and validate controls before production go-live.
• Assess security implications of changes and track remediation with stakeholders.
• Provide reporting: dashboards, KRIs, and risk trends for management.
