Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC analysis, or similar field.
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools, including SIEM platforms.
• Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common security threats.
• Basic knowledge of incident response procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls; perform triage and analysis.
• Investigate incidents, define scope/impact, and escalate as needed.
• Respond to alerts and support incident remediation efforts.
• Maintain and optimize SOC tools and technologies.
• Contribute to SOC procedures and playbooks.
• Stay up-to-date on cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
