Placements24 is seeking a Customer Success Specialist for their Port Elizabeth base with flexible remote work options. You will guide customers from onboarding through adoption, monitor health metrics, and drive value and retention across key accounts.

You will collaborate with Sales and Product teams, analyze data to improve outcomes, and aim to reduce churn while expanding opportunities with customers across the Eastern Cape.

Qualifications

About the Role

As a Customer Success Specialist, you will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through onboarding, adoption, and ongoing usage of our platform. You will proactively engage with clients to understand their needs, provide strategic recommendations, and ensure their success. Key Responsibilities

• Onboard new customers and guide them through the initial stages of product adoption.
• Proactively monitor customer health and engagement, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
• Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with key accounts.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure customers achieve their desired outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling based on customer needs and goals.
• Gather customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams to improve products and services.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, building strong relationships.
• Develop and execute strategies to reduce churn and increase customer lifetime value.
• Educate customers on new features and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer success, account management, or a client-facing support role.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of customer onboarding and retention strategies.
• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and customer success platforms.
• Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
• Proactive problem-solver with a customer-centric mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Eastern Cape business landscape is a plus.
