Wabtec invites applications for a Product Support Engineer to join the Digital Mine family in Johannesburg. You will configure, test, and deploy systems, collaborating with product and engineering teams to meet customer requirements.

The role emphasises proactive client engagement, quick issue resolution, and ongoing system tuning, with travel and flexible hours as needed. A strong IT/engineering background and customer service mindset are essential.

Qualificações

• Experience with Linux and Windows server environments.
• Proficiency in scripting or coding basics (C/C++, Python, Java, HTML) is beneficial.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for complex systems.

Responsabilidades

• Configure systems to meet customer requirements and settings.
• Test and verify system operation and performance.
• Assist in deploying new systems with the services team.
• Implement ongoing configuration changes with change management.
• Support firmware, software, and configurations as needed.
• Deliver services per SLAs, remotely, in-office or on-site.
• Own technical support and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work with Product Managers to advocate for customer needs.
