Job summary

Urology Hospital in Pretoria seeks a CSSD Supervisor with SANC registration to lead theatre support. You will oversee stock control, instrument handling, lists, and doctor preference cards, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

Candidates must have a CSSD qualification, formal CSSD training, and at least 3 years’ CSSD supervision experience; knowledge of Urology instruments is desirable. Leadership and CPD mentorship are key for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• SANC Registration as Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Theatre experience required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a CSSD Supervisor.
• A CSSD qualification and formal CSSD training are essential.
• Knowledge of Urology / Urogynae, and general instruments.
• Computer literacy (Word and Excel) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Daily Priontex Order.
• Robotics Report Mondays.
• Theatre List Analysis.
• IPC monthly reports.
• CSSD monthly reports.
• In-Service training.
• Mentors senior staff and orients new employees to ensure safe practice.
