Job summary

Qualifications

• Infection control protocols and safety standards are required.
• Proficient reprocessing of reusable medical devices.

• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day processes of CSSD.
• Manage department resources and staffing.
• Identify, address and report departmental risks.
• Deliver safe peri-operative nursing care with a multi-professional team.
• Identify and prevent risks to patient safety.
• Maintain accurate records of nursing and surgical interventions.
• Ensure stock and equipment are accurately charted.
• Create a learning environment that builds staff competence.
