Job summary

Joint Medical Holdings is seeking a CSSD Attendant to manage processing of used theatre instrumentation and ensure sterile supplies to the OT and wards. The role requires detailed cleaning, autoclave operation, and strict infection control adherence.

Candidates should have Grade 12 and 1–2 years CSSD experience; a CSSD course is advantageous. You will work on site, handle linen and stock, and support theatre staff as part of a busy CSSD team.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 qualification.
• 1–2 years CSSD experience preferred.
• CSSD course and experience advantageous.
• Willingness to work additional hours on request.

Responsibilities

• Process used instrumentation for main theatre and wards.
• Perform detailed cleaning of instrumentation before sterilization.
• Ensure sterile supplies to OT/ward and maintain infection control.
• Operate and monitor autoclaves; read test indicators and log results.
• Manage linen control and surgical stock; assist with stock counts.
• Work under pressure with minimal supervision and maintain safety.
