Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of basic deck maintenance and cleaning techniques.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all deck areas, including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing decks.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of deck furniture and equipment.
• Ensure all deck equipment is properly stored and secured.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of supplies and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while onboard the cruise ship.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Deck Officer.
• Assist with the operation of tenders and other small boats as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests and respond to requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions as required.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures at all times.
