Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our client’s lending division in Tembisa, Gauteng. The role involves rigorously assessing the creditworthiness of loan applicants, analyzing financial statements, and making informed recommendations on loan approvals.

You will contribute to managing credit risk in a busy banking environment, interpret financial data, and work with loan officers to gather information and ensure compliance with lending guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to interpret financial statements.
• Proficient in assessing credit risk and understanding credit scoring models.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and data to assess loan risk.
• Prepare credit reports and present findings to the credit committee.
