Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd in South Africa seeks a skilled Credit Controller to safeguard cash flow and maintain accurate reconciliations. You will manage large wholesale, independent and foodservice accounts, resolve queries, and ensure overdue balances stay within targets.

You should have at least 3 years in FMCG credit control, strong Excel skills, and good communication. A Grade 12 with a credit control diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in FMCG credit control.
• Good technical knowledge in credit control.
• Diploma/qualification in credit control is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile large wholesale, independent and foodservice accounts.
• Resolve customer queries via visits and written communication.
• Ensure prompt payment within agreed terms.
• Maintain overdue 60 day+ below 5%.
• RM system customer master maintenance – up to date via MDM.
• Check validity of customer deductions.
• Coordinate with Customer Managers for authorisation to process claims.
• Ensure rebates and promotions are claimed on time.
• Assist in compiling daily and monthly reports.
• Release orders.
