Qualifications

• Completed Grade 12.
• Certificate in Credit Control / Management.
• 5 years' Credit Control experience within FMCG industry.
• Basic understanding of the National Credit Act regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the relevant Age Analysis account.
• Request remittances and reconcile accounts.
• Initiate collection of payments as per trading terms.
• Correspondence with customers regarding invoices, statements, overdue and unpaid amounts.
• Investigate claims deducted off customers' payments.
• Contact customers for payment when credit limit is reached.
• Collection of payments for all terms as per credit policy.
• Open new accounts with requirements per credit policy.
• Release blocked orders per credit policy.
• Annual customer account review.
• Contribute to weekly cash flow projections.
• Analyze bank statements and allocate payments to customer accounts.
• Investigate customer queries and obtain necessary documents for debits/credits.
• Prepare credit/debit notes and obtain approvals.
