The ideal candidate has Grade 12, a Certificate in Credit Control/Management, 5 years FMCG experience, and knowledge of the National Credit Act. Proficiency in MS Office and LN ERP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed Grade 12.
• Certificate in Credit Control/Management.
• 5 years' Credit Control experience within FMCG.
• Basic understanding of the National Credit Act regulations.

Responsabilités

• Manage the relevant Age Analysis account.
• Request remittances and reconcile accounts.
• Initiate collection of payments as per trading terms.
• Correspondence with customers regarding invoices and statements.
• Investigate claims deducted from customer payments.
• Contact customers for payment when credit limits are reached.
• Collect payments as per credit policy.
• Open new accounts per credit policy.
• Release blocked orders per credit policy.
• Conduct annual customer account reviews.
• Prepare and follow up on debit/credit notes.
• Reconcile and allocate payments weekly/month-end.
• Prepare cash flow for month-end payments.
• Prepare rebate claims for month-end customers.
• Report overdue payments to Senior Credit Controller.
