Job summary

Fidelity Services Group is seeking a Credit Control Supervisor in Midrand to lead a credit control team, ensure timely collections, and work with internal departments to resolve payment issues. The role focuses on improving cash flow, reducing bad debts, and maintaining credit policies.

The ideal candidate will have a finance or accounting degree, proven credit control and supervisory experience, and strong Excel and accounting software skills to manage credit processes and stakeholder

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable management.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of credit control officers to meet targets and KPIs.
Implement and maintain credit control policies and procedures.
Monitor aged debt reports and take action on outstanding accounts.
Review and assess credit applications to determine creditworthiness.
Negotiate payment plans with delinquent customers and escalate issues as needed.
Conduct regular reviews of credit limits and terms for existing customers.
Investigate and resolve customer queries related to invoices and payments.
Provide training to credit control team on best practices.
Prepare reports on debt collection activity for management review.
Collaborate with sales and customer service to resolve payment disputes.
